As a result, Pakistan had to shift their home matches at neutral venues and the UAE became Pakistan’s adopted home ground to host international matches. Pakistan had also been dropped as a co-host of the 2011 World Cup and many other international cricket events.

It has been assured by international cricket fraternity that when the security situation will get improve in Pakistan, international cricket teams would again comeback in Pakistan.

Bahria Town Karachi

Bahria Town Karachi is one of the most secured and safe towns in Pakistan. It is, in fact, a city within city with a gated-community neighborhood, inside a fortified boundary wall. It is reported in various media that some of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2023 matches would likely be played in Rafi Cricket Stadium, Bahria Town Karachi. The neighborhood community has already a sizable population inside and for them big TV screens has already been installed to watch ICC T20 World Cup 2021 at many Bahria Town Karachi’ venues and restaurants. When the PSL matches played here, they would definitely go to Rafi Cricket Stadium to enjoy the game.
